Preventex Anti-Embolism Stockings, Thigh, Large Long

If you are in hospital or less mobile then normal then this may cause your blood to flow more slowly through your veins, which increases your risk of developing a blood clot in your lower leg, caled a Venous Thromboembolism (VTE). They most commonly occur in the deep veins of the legs and are known as Deep Vein Thombosis (DVT).

Preventex Anti-Embolism Stockings provide the correct pressure to increase blood flow up the leg and back to the heart.

Never roll your stockings down while you are wearing them as this will alter their performance and constrict blood flow by causing a tourniquet effect. You will need to wear them day and night. However, you can remove them for up to 30 minutes to bathe or shower.
